Motion Is the Signal

Luciano.

Today's attack drones carry an identifier and navigate on the commercial network they fly over. Luciano is a SIGINT-based Counter-UAS (C-UAS) built on the same engine: it listens, tells a drone apart from a phone on a rooftop, and on command addresses that one drone's link.

The effect is electronic and aimed at one network identity. Everything else in the air and on the ground keeps working.

A Luciano unit on a tripod, its antennas tracing links up to three drones overhead while the phones on the ground keep their signal.
  • 360°Continuous Coverage
  • PARALLELEvery Drone in a Raid
  • ON-PREMNothing Leaves the Perimeter
  • Passive or Active, by Mission

In collection the sensor is receive-only and adds nothing to the RF environment, so it can sit inside a live airport without disturbing a single service. When the mission calls for it, the same unit goes active.

  • Drone or Rooftop Phone

Protocol and RF patterns, fused. Sustained elevation and flight kinematics separate a drone from a handset on a roof. Network behavior confirms it.

  • Selective, Not a Jammer

On operator command, selective EW addresses one drone's own network identity. Every other emitter around it keeps working.

  • Built for Raids

Every drone in a raid is held as its own track and handled in parallel, with one aggregated alert instead of fifty.

  1. 01Listen

Receive-only. The sensor hears the emitters overhead and adds nothing to the RF environment while it listens.

  2. 02Classify

Protocol and RF patterns, fused. Sustained elevation and flight kinematics separate a drone from a phone on a roof. Network behavior confirms it.

  3. 03Localize

Passive bearing while listening. On request, a meter-class 3-D fix.

  4. 04Deny the Link

On operator command, selective EW addresses that drone's own network identity. Every other emitter around it keeps working.

Multi-Drone

  • One Alert, Not Fifty

Drones moving together raise a single aggregated alert, so the operator is not flooded with alarms at the moment it matters.

  • An Identity-Bound Track

The track survives a SIM swap. Each SIM is bound to the drone it belongs to, so switching to a backup does not break it.

  • Every Drone Handled Individually

The whole raid is addressed in parallel rather than one at a time, and the airspace stays open for everyone else.
